From its inception, Stirling Sound, Inc., located in Clearwater, Minnesota, has focused on the symbiotic relationship between
the creative and technical aspects of Audio production and recording. From concept
through completion, we recognize the need to be a "one-stop" audio sound source, so as to maintain
creative and technical continuity for the client's audio recording project. Another
foundational principle of Stirling Sound, Inc. is to provide cost-effective service without compromising the integrity of the end Audio Recording
product. Our creative and technical team, guided by the diverse experience of Rik Stirling (President), seeks out alternative solutions to nearly every aspect of audio production and design. We see "usual and
customary" as a very dangerous place to rest when it comes to the ever changing creative, technical, and fiscal demands
of the current marketplace in the audio recording/production industry.
Our
Audio production/recording facilities have been designed to offer the most creative and inspiring environment possible. If you're
the type of client that needs to immerse yourself in a recording project, we offer
full on-site residence with 3 bedrooms (with sleeping accommodations for 13), a private kitchen and living area, private bath, private laundry facilities,
etc., all nestled on 8 acres with 360 ft. of recreational lakeshore, an indoor pool with spa, and all of the recreational
amenities that go along with a clean recreational lake in Minnesota. All of this within
minutes of St. Cloud, MN, and a short drive to the Twin Cities.
Our AudioRecording Studios and control rooms are acoustically sound and ergonomically friendly, and were designed to handle
virtually any audio production/recording. We have the technical tools and talent needed for today's demanding Audio Recording
Productions.

We offer complete audio recording/production packages that include full on-site
residence with 3 bedrooms (accommodates 13), a private kitchen, living room, bath, laundry facility, etc. on 8-acres with
360 ft. of recreational lakeshore, and an in-door pool with spa.
~At the studio's core is Pro Tools HD/Expanded
with a long list of plugins, a 48- fader Pro Control control surface with an extensive list of preamps, microphones, a LARGE recording studio with two
smaller recording rooms for great flexibility in tracking, and expanded post-production capabilities with appropriate video
monitoring.
We offer "weekend" packages in addition to discount package pricing. Of course, our
existing recording studio built in 1995 (now referred to as Studio B) will remain intact and a part of the overall Stirling
experience here in Minnesota.
We will work with any artist to give form to their creative ideas….
we can accommodate packages from full production to mastering, and anything in-between. For example, you may have a
digital recording system to capture your ideas, but do not have the expertise to bring things “to the next level”.
We can accommodate your needs, working with your recordings, or instructing you as to how you can get the best recordings
with your system and refining things at Stirling, saving you expense where it will not compromise your artistry.
We just finished up mastering a project for the artist Ian Hilmer, gifted as both a musician and
composer. We're looking forward to hearing much from this "Americana" artist in the future, we have an audio
sample on the site. Skywarden is
in final mix production, and we have some audio samples on the "audio samples" link to your left to hear the latest.
We also have TJ Porter's project prepared for release with an audio sample on our site as well.
We've completed production of sound design for a No Greater Joy Ministries animation of their "Good and Evil" project trailer, along with tracking Fergie Frederiksen (see our testimonials
page) for Italian artist Myland. We completed production on Arlis Feser's work "Surrender" . We're very excited
to be a part of these releases, and will have samples on-line soon! We've produced numerous other projects that we will link
and detail on our site as things progress.

offer on-site optical duplication at our Facility! We feature a BRAVO XR CD/DVD duplicator and printer to assist you with
duplication and screening of your CDs and DVDs. We specialize in shorter run duplication (25-250 units), and can duplicate DVD and CD
optical storage in any file format.
